Attorney Access Help Center & FAQs

Creating Accounts and Signing In

I already had an Attorney Access account on the primary site. Do I need to create a new one?

No. If you’ve registered for an Attorney Access account in the past, you can login using the email address and password you always have. You can reset your password if you cannot remember your credentials.

I’m not sure if I have an Attorney Access account. How can I find out if an account is already created under my email address?

The easiest way to check if you have an Attorney Access account is to visit the account registration page and try to register with your email address. If you already have an account, our system will prevent you from registering and display an error stating “This email address is already registered.”

In that scenario, we encourage you to reset your password and sign in with that same email address and your new password.

I don’t know my password. How can I set a new one?

You can visit this page to start the process of resetting your password. Please check your email’s junk or spam folder if you do not receive the necessary email during this process.

I am not using the same email address I was when I created my Attorney Access account. How can I update it?

Since your email address is also used for your login, you’ll need to send a request to [email protected] to have your Attorney Access email address updated.

Managing Your Membership and Profile Information

I’m not sure whether a Basic or Premium membership is right for me. What are some of the key differences?

Some of the key differences between Attorney Access Basic and Premium memberships include:

State Resources: All members are limited to viewing 3 states. Premium members are able to view more comprehensive figures.

CLE Access: Premium members receive free access to all live and on-demand CLE content, including our 5-hour “Master Medicaid Planning” CLE course. Basic members are required to pay a one-time fee to register for and view any CLE content.

Site Features: Premium members have unrestricted access to the entire Attorney Access site. Basic members are unable to use the planning calculators and case law library, while also having limited access to State Resources.

How do I change my profile picture?

You can visit the Profile Picture page to update your photo. You can also click Update Profile Picture near the top left corner of your Attorney Access Dashboard.

How do I change my Attorney Access subscription level?

You can upgrade or downgrade your Attorney Access membership from the membership level management page.

You can navigate here by selecting “Manage My Subscription” from your Attorney Access dashboard, and then selecting “View All Membership Options.”

How do I delete my account?

If you no longer want to pay for a Premium account, we recommend you downgrade to a Basic account so you still have some access to Attorney Access.

If you want to delete your account and all the data associated with it, please email us at [email protected] and we will close your account as soon as possible.

Managing Your Billing

How do I see my previous invoices and billing history?

You can view all the information associated with your billing, invoices, and subscription level from the Subscription Management page.

Using the Attorney Access Site

What is the best way to preview the new Attorney Access?

We’ve created a video series that walks you through all the key features of the website. Visit the Attorney Access walkthrough series to view.

How do I gain access to more or different states under State Resources?

As an Attorney Access user, you’re limited to the three states you selected when you set up your account. If you require additional access beyond those three states, contact us at [email protected].

How do I change the default state that appears on my Attorney Access dashboard?

Your default state can be updated by visiting the profile management page and choosing a new state from the Dashboard Default State picklist.

Where can I find the intake forms for my client’s case?

Click “Start My Client Case” in the top right corner of the site to open our online intake forms, where you can provide the information required for us to generate a quote.

Do I still need to register for upcoming live webinars?

Yes. Our webinars are hosted through third-party software, and your registration ensures you’ll receive your unique link to join the live webinar.

How do I navigate back to the main Krause Financial Services site?

Next to your profile picture near the top right of the website, you’ll see a four-square grid. Click that grid for easy navigation between Attorney Access and our primary site at medicaidannuity.com.

Continuing Legal Education (CLE)

I completed an on-demand CLE webinar. How do I ensure I receive CLE for viewing?

Once you’ve finished viewing any CLE content on the site, be sure to complete the survey. Once the survey is completed, our CLE coordinator will contact you via email. If you have questions about receiving CLE, please contact us at [email protected]

How can I find out how much CLE credit I can earn in my state for a CLE webinar?

Each webinar you register for will include a link to a table that highlights the CLE available for each state. However, if information for your state is not available, please contact us at [email protected] and we’ll look up the CLE approval status for your state.

How do I access the “Master Medicaid Planning” CLE course?

All Attorney Access members must enroll via this short form to gain access to the ‘Master Medicaid Planning” training course.  Once you’ve enrolled, you can access the course from your Attorney Access dashboard on the “Access Your On-Demand CLE Course” tile.
